Bill Clinton has no right to comment on anyone's gay marriage. . .
. . . even the marriage of that right-wing shill who used to work for Jesse Helms and who is planning a campaign against Hillary in New York.

Bill Clinton, you signed DOMA and denied gays not only the right to marry, but also the right to file joint tax returns, get visas for their foreign partners, and serve in the military.

Bill Clinton, you encouraged John Kerry to support the state and federal anti-gay constitutional amendments.

Bill Clinton, YOU are part of the problem and have no moral or factual right to hide behind the gauze of "tolerance," or describe anyone as "self-loathing."

1. Bill Clinton and comment on marriage
are two items that, unfortunately, don't belong together. As much as I like Clinton in some ways, that is an undeniable fact, and that was his own fault. I'm sorry that mainstream Democrats feel they have to deny the rights of a group of people just to keep from seeming "too liberal".

Another reason I liked Dean, who at least supported same sex unions.

2. How about a "Don't Ask Don't Tell" Marriage Bill
Marriage licenses would simply use gender-neutral language.

Then, nobody would know if you were getting gay-married or not.

5. I dislike Bill Clinton.
He would sell us at the drop of a hat, as he has done in the past, for political expediency, and then turn around and encourage others to do the same, as he has also done in the past.

He's only slightly more liberal than Joe Lieberman. Bill Clinton's usefulness has ended to the Democratic Party.

8. BFD
.let them attack, do nothing like a good Dem.
I don't really care what he did. His assessment is right on the mark, and nothing is too low to say or accuse ANY republican. Anything nasty said about a Gay Puke is OK with me; Self Loathing is the benchmark of a Gay puke.

6. Bill Clinton isn't the only problem here.
The main problem is that them majority don't approve of gay marriages and the Democrats want their vote. The majority do approve of civil unions. That more than we could have gotten years ago. We need to change society's attitudes.

9. And Finkelstein has no right to call himself 'gay'
Maybe he should use the name his right-wing 'buddies' use behind his back ... faggot.

A pathetic, self-loathing piece of crap like Finkelstein has no right to use the name others have claimed for themselves through their struggle for equality while he has consistently worked against them.

11. Not me, Dwickham.
But I have to admit life was a bit better during the Clinton years than it is right now (for the majority of Americans).

This PFLAGer cannot tell you how disappointed I was when he made those remarks to Kerry (and then verified that he did by commenting on it publicly).

It is never worth selling one's soul to the Devil (and in my faith we don't even believe in a devil). And that's what the Centrist Dems tried to do to win.
