Marriage Equality Now blog
For those of us who want to spend less time on DU and more time on other sites that promote human values, this is a good place to start:

http://marriageequalitynow.com/goal/

Right on the front page, for instance, is a list of reasons why civil unions aren't the panacea that some believe. There's a also a community there of people, gay and straight and everything else, who believe in human rights.

Also, I contribute every month to the Southern Poverty Law Center, Lambda Legal, and Amnesty International. Each of these organizations fights for everyone's human rights - in the courts, where the rubber hits the road. They're not into appeasement or "pie in the sky by and by." They use our contributions to take the fight to the courts of law.

See you there!
