MA Special Election is Tuesday, April 12, 2005
GET OUT THE MASSACHUSETTS VOTE
There is a very narrow split in votes for the upcoming required 2nd Massachusetts Constitutional Convention for anti-same-sex marriage amendments, if its convened. A very narrow vote split.

These two special elections (below) may swing an upcoming vote in favor of not amending the Massachusetts state constitution with hateful and discriminatory language against your gay neighbors and relatives and their families.

Take the time and VOTE NEXT TUESDAY, April 12th

1.) 18th Suffolk County District = BOSTON: Ward 21, Pcts. 2, 4, 13-16; Ward 22, Pcts. 1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11-13; and Brookline: Pct. 1

Mike Moran, Democrat, won the primary election. Moran is strongly committed to protecting equal marriage rights. Moran is opposed in the upcoming general election by unenrolled candidate Tom O'Brien. GET OUT THE VOTE FOR MORAN !


2.) 3rd Berkshire County District = PITTSFIELD: Ward 1, Pct. A; Wards 2, 3, 4; Ward 5, Pct. A, Wards 6, 7

The primary election was won by former Pittsfield City Solicitor Chris Speranzo. Speranzo supports marriage equality. However, in the upcoming general election, Speranzo will go against Terry Kinnas, Republican. Kinnas wants to place discrimination into the Massachusetts constitution. Kinnas is opposed to same-sex marriage. GET OUT THE VOTE FOR SPERANZO !
