If so, the Stop the Hurt! committee is sponsering its 15th annual symposium on child abuse and neglect.

Originally focusing on sexual abuse, in recent years it has broadened to include exploitation, physical abuse, and neglect.

Speakers include physicians, psychologists, judges, attorney's, and social workers from UT Medical School, The University of Mississippi schools of Law, Social Work, and Clinical Psychology, Walter Reed Hospital, John's Hopkins, and Vanderbuilt University school of Medicine. As well as various judges, etc. Other areas addressed may include child psychiatry and adolescent behavior.

The conference is apporved for continuing education credit from the ABA (law), AMA & AAFP (Medicine), APA (Psychology), Teachers (MS, TN, and AL), NASW (Social Workers), Marrige & Family Therapists, and a few others which I can't remember.
