I love Honey Baked Ham... |
|
I spent years being disappointed that they didn't sell just a small amount for one or two people. I'd ask every time I went in there, now guess what!!! I went into our local store the other day and they're selling 1-lb packages of the thin, spiral-sliced ham slices. Perfect for 1 or 2 people!
Mmmmmmm... Honey Baked Ham and Cook's Illustrated's recipe for scalloped potatoes... I have quite a few days of enjoymment ahead of me!

1. I think Fred Meyers is better |
|
Have you had their flame crafted ham? We've had both and really like the Fred Meyer alot. But hope you enjoy your Honey Baked!

2. Ham is one of my major downfalls. |
|
Ham and bacon. When I had my colonoscopy I really tried to talk the doc into doing a little suggestion therapy while I was under versed to convince me that I don't like either one of those and I'm no longer a smoker. He wouldn't go along with it, but can you imagine the side money he could make?
Seriously though, I am ordering a huge smoke ham from the coop. No sissy spiral slicing. I like mine in nice, thick slices or chunks. :9
