1. Yeah, but you're jet propelled. |

Spring is here, time to serve big salads, including brown rice salads and whole grain pasta salads. If you're a meat eater, throw bran (wheat or oat) into those meatloafs and meatballs. Whole grain spaghetti has a slightly different texture, but the taste is the same. Sweet corn season is months away, but you can get it frozen or canned. Make whole grain cornbread with corn kernels in it, can't get any more fibrous than that.

2. Breakfast is a easy place to add fiber |

7 grain hot cereal has a lot of fiber, or if you prefer cold, frosted mini wheats, or anything in that family are also high fiber.

Been on the market for years. It has 10 gr. of fiber per serving. It contains whole flax seeds. I started eating and loving this cereal long before I could read - otherwise, I may have never tried it, as it has "laxative cereal" printed boldly on the bos. It is in the regular cereal aisles of you standard grocery store.

I enjoy it occasionally. It's pretty quick cooking and I've made tabouli with it before, instead of bulgur wheat.
Good source of both protein and fiber. But when I eat it, I have to set aside the fact that it looks like a bunch of baby snails in my bowl.
Edit: barley is good too.
