So I REMOVED the TCP/IP protocol from a Win95 machine I have |
|
accidentally. ok? (I was stripping off a lot of virus and spy crap that someone loaded onto it.)
And I don't have the manufacturers disk to reinstall it from. And this was a refurbished machine that a disk never came with it. The original backup was on the harddrive and is gone now, I think.
So is there anyway I can get a generic type TCP/IP protocol disk or file to add TCP/IP back onto this machine.?????
I have been looking for a download of such a thing for a while now. Does it have to come from a manufacturers disk?
i know, I know, I should not even be screwing with this old thing, but it's like a 'project', now, alright?
Grateful for anyplace you can point me to, etc. THANKS !! (The machine is a NEC Pentium233, 64m ram.)

for what its' worth. Guy at a shop told me he would sell the win95 pc I am playing with for $40, if he had it in perfect shape. So I guess I got a $40 cruiser there now.
