Combat this darkness over the land

I believe it is possible to combat this darkness over the land. No matter what method you are comfortable with, be it mental programming, casting spells, meditation, prayer, or sending energy; send it to those people who can EXPOSE the lies, fraud, evil, and corruption. Urge these people to come forward and ease their conscience. Remind them it is for the greater good.
I propose we begin collectively to imagine this happening.
Imagine this happening as you drift off to sleep every night.
Hopefully, we can break this thing wide open and put an end to this nightmare.

1. I'm pleased to hear that

someone here isn't allowing themselves to be taken over by fear, but to have faith in the light (so to speak).

A few days after the election, I could barely function. Dh's vacation coincided with the awful week.. In my travel bag, I found some spiritual materials I take along whenever I travel. In my grief I had forgotten they were there.

One of my magazines features a sort of 'prayer line' that I called for some comfort. Thankfully, the prayer person I got shared that her candidate didn't win either. LOL! But she went on to say that now was not the time to harbor negative feelings and get down on life or the world. She told me to pray fervently and do visualizations envisioning those in command bathed in white light.

Could this not be the light of truth, too?

To lift this sad day off of the ground a little - I have a personal mantra - This Too Is God. Trust it all. There are actually many advantages to Bush having to take all of the responsibility for his creation. Our country needs to go through a kind of death/rebirth just like we as individuals have had to do. What real change looks and feels like --- is the death of a way of life!

If Kerry had won we would have celebrated the fact that our polar opposite position was the correct one. Only the small changes in our world can be affected with our votes and good intensions. Real, necessary, powerful change do not work quite the same way. There is always a third and unseen entity waiting to emerge that incorporates the two polls we humans get caught up in. This third entity is what we have been waiting for and the change that brings it about happens in the most unexpected, miraculous of ways.

We have done our best to defeat the shadow of our creation in America and just because we failed doesn't mean we have to stay pitted in our self-righteous position --as much as we believe it to be the correct one.

Apparently it was not! So what IS? -- for sure not Bush. We are waiting to find out what the new position is. Trust and stay attentive and don't become complacent, indifferent and mostly don't become discouraged.

Trust your life enough to fiercely live your own truth -- have the courage to face those aspects of denial within yourself and all will be well--- you will exist in a world within a world and that world is hugely supported by the all of the work we did on the consciousness front over the years. It is the like-minded people who have done and are doing their work who are holding the larger dream. Our attentitiveness and personal work will put is in the best seat in the house to be "At-one" with the wildly alive process of real change.

3. Some time ago,

a year, maybe two, there was a lightworker's "moment of light" throuhgout the world. I was at work and took the time to go into a meditation of sending light to those in power. I envisioned * and Rumsfeld in a bubble of light and tried to feel what they must be feeling. I honored their darkness in the world, as I knew it must be a heavy job, to come in, holding such energy and living such darkness.

Did I see a resultant change? Well, * invaded Iraq. Makes me wonder if I did something wrong.

4. Of course you did not CAUSE this to happen.

I came up with this after watching a show on TV where a psychic who was also a former police officer found out who murdered a young woman. Since they had no physical evidence, they could not do anything. The psychic could not rest with this knowledge and said he sent "thoughts" or what have you, to the murderer asking him to divulge his crime to set his conscience free.
The murderer DID confess after being arrested on another burglary charge. Said he could not rest until he confessed.

5. Best we can do at the present is keep our own space "clean"

keep our thoughts turned to the light...in our own small space of home & family....focus on what we want to create rather than what we DON'T want.....

Where we put our focus/thoughts is also where we put our energy. We can wish all we want that * hasn't somehow gotten himself another 4 years....OR we can put our focus on the kind of world we want to create, right?

I think this "election" has awakened a lot of people and I think it is so great to have this place to come together and help each other spiritually on a political board. Shows me that the light is INCREASING!!! :)

6. This is key:

Focus on what we want to CREATE, not what we want to combat. I tried to say this in a longer, rambling post somewhere yesterday, and you've brought it to me so concisely! ;-)

I do this in my classroom all the time. We start at the beginning of the year by creating an "agreement" that lists behaviors we all agree to stick to so that everybody can be successful. When I ask kids what "rules" they think we need, they generally give me a hundred or so, depending on how long I let them go on, all things to NOT do. "No hitting." "No this." "No that." etc.

Then I turn them on their heads and say, "Well then, what are we supposed to "DO?" It always lands them in confusion; they aren't used to thinking about it this way. We sort and categorize their "don'ts" into a few general groups, then come up with a statement of what we will "do." Instead of "Don't be mean," "Respect others," etc..

We use them to solve conflicts, too. When I ask how to solve a problem, they will always respond with, "I won't do that any more." Ok...so what will you DO instead?

As adults, we need to focus on what we are creating, not on what we fear. So I am working to create clean, light space around me. And then to allow it to spread further into my family and work areas. And then further to the people around me in my community, state, nation, and world.
