3. Welcome to you billyskank |
|
I can only imagine that incessant cartoon guitar riffing must be thoroughly exhausting for you. LOL
You can share your birth info (month, day, year, time, place) either here or privately if you want some astro support and someone/s will get around to taking a look when we can.
Generally there's quite a bit of collective consternation in the air right now though. It's the dark of the Moon (till Saturday,) Mercury just went retro, and the Saturn in Leo retro opposing Neptune is kinda intense. Mars in the last decant of Capricorn is kinda feeling like what the I ching calls "critical mass" as well.
Things'll lighten up in a while.

I don't mind telling you that. I was born at midday on the 2nd July 1976 in Leicester, England. If you don't know where that is, it's roughly 52 degrees N, 1 degree W according to Google Earth. ;)

5. Most of us have fairly sophisticated atlas programs |
|
and they've pre programed latitudes and longitudes, even for villages in Africa consisting of only three huts. I'm not kidding.
But can you be any more specific on the birth time? The Earth spins a degree every four minutes. It's quite amazing we don't all fall off really. So astrologers are generally suspicious of on the hour birthtimes even if one out of every 60 people legitimately have one.

When I say midday, I mean about midday of course. My mum has my birth certificate, naturally, so I don't have it to hand.

24. Well I printed up your chart this morning but was working on my stellascope for most of the day. |
|
If you were born 16 min after noontime GMD the rising sign would be Libra instead of Virgo. 24 minutes after noontime would change the midHeaven from Gemini to Cancer. If you talk to your mum over the next couple days ask her as I don't want to offer up vaguery really.
Glad the tide has shifted for you. Hang in there and Happy New Moon tomorrow.

29. I have a few thoughts. |
|
Edited on Sat Feb-17-07 09:12 PM by Chemical Bill
Have you had a bad year because of other people and their effect on you? Have you had any major shift in the way that you think this year? Any health related issues? What happened in the summer of 2005, and are there any leftover issues you still have to deal with?
I had a flash of somebody taking LSD for the first time and not really getting over it. That may be what it's like for you. I would expect you to be shell shocked right now if there is any part of your life that you are trying to hold on to. It is impossible to predict which direction your life is headed, but not hard to see that you're headed for a different world than the one you lived in just last year. I know how hard it is for you to let go of the past, but that is what is called for right now. Things will come to you in the next year that you have no way of even imagining now.
Pluto is opposed your Mercury. Pluto brings major changes, no matter whether we want or are ready for them. Your Mercury rules the way you think, and the way your mind works. Oppositions often do their magic by bringing other people into our lives. Judging by Stella's comments (down thread) and your situation, I'm betting that you have a late Virgo ascendant, which would make the planet Mercury your ruling planet, which amplifies the effect of transits. Plus Pluto would be squaring your ascendant at the same time it opposes your Mercury. This technical stuff I'm just saying so that other astrologers can give their opinions.
Bill
Edit: I hadn't seen post #19 when I wrote this. My advice is to eat lots of organic food and meditate every day (well, I do it at night). You may need to cut down on sugar and meat, or even stop eating them for a time. That's all until you get less cryptic (you don't really think you have secrets, do you?).

:loveya:  I'm so sorry to hear you're still havin' a tough time.
I've always found that what gets me through the tough times are:
1) Remembering that this, too, shall pass. Everything changes, in other words.
2) Thinking about all the things in my life that I'm GRATEFUL for, even the "little" things. What you appreciate, appreciates.
 I am sending you all my best wishes for Peace and Comfort.

8. Of all the lousy years in our lives, |
|
those are the ones when we probably learned the most :)
So reflect upon what you have learned, accept it as having brought you here today (and you're still with us!), forgive, be grateful, and then let that go! Kiss it goodbye! :*
And then tell yourself (and believe) that today is better than yesterday and tomorrow will be even better. You have found new supportive friends so let's start with a :hi: and a

Glad you dropped in Billyskank, and believe me hard years are the learning times, I know I have had a few of 'em myself. OK I am an old woman who has "been there done that." I hope that you find some good friends in here, it is my favorite place on DU ~ even more than the the computer group (ok, I am a network administrator and geek wannabe).
I have never had my chart done and could not do yours, but as a woman who has three sons is an empath, and who could be your mom, I can tell you that it appears to me that your are a very exceptional young man for seeking us out. I can tell you, there are some wonderful people here and they have been a great deal of inspiration for me as I am sure they will be for you.

13. Hey--GLAD to see you in here! |
|
Of course you should "show your face" in here! If you are having a bad year you need support and there is usually a LOT of that to be found in this group. I know it probably sounds lame as all get out to you, but I do think that just when you feel like you can't take anything more, you usually won't have to.
We spend a lot of time in here talking about drawing positive things into our lives and visualizing what we need and want. Maybe if you feel like your year is lousy, it would be a good start to consider just what it is you would like to see happen to improve things. Can you make a list for yourself of what you need to turn things around?
Money?
Love?
Security?
Don't be afraid to think big, either!
Once you have a list then you need to start working to make it happen--working to manifest it. It might make you feel better to read some of the manifestation threads we have going, because some of these folks in here are having some pretty good success with attracting the stuff they need and want.
We will help you in any way we can, and I am very glad you came to hang out with us!

Seen you about the Lounge a lot--sorry to hear you're having a rough time of it.
My advice is go ahead and wallow for a while--the only rule is that after a while you promise to...well, stop! :D And forge ahead.
I don't know if you've ever gone through this, but I've come to realize that about every seven or eight years I have an absolutely HORRENDOUS year. Just awful. Everything I touch turns to shit. And the only way out is through it. I used to despise those years until I realized it matched up with the theory that every seven years we've shed enough cells to end up in a completely new body. So now I consider it a blessing--a rite of passage, of sorts. Plus, every year after my shitty seventh year is a GREAT year. :)

So far I have drawn simply using pencil and paper. I find a pencil is such a versatile tool. I sketch out my pictures using a regular HB pencil, and then when I have the form right I go on to do the shading using a softer 4B pencil.

something changed. Something I had been waiting for was there for me at breakfast. It is early days yet so I am still being cautious. I know I'm being cryptic, but this is a personal thing and I will keep it to myself until I know where it is going. I just wanted you to know that the status quo had broken.

Pardon me. The others seem to know you. I don't go to the Lounge much, so I'm unaware of the stream over there. So, I'm starting fresh getting to know you.
Chemical Bill wrote an interesting post. I hope you continue to check in on this thread.
I don't mind telling you that you have given me inspiration. Since seeing your drawings, I have been toying with the idea of taking art and design classes again. It has been a long time since I was enrolled for those classes. I did go out yesterday and pick up some pencils and a small box of pastels. Already have drawing paper. So, thank you for that. The Universe is abundant and full of solutions. Given the chance, she will help you. Ready?
ps. Bill's post made me think about doing a Tarot reading for you. Many here can do that as well. What do you need? What do you want?
