psychic medium Lisa Williams

I'm sure many might be familiar with her show on Lifetime, but has anyone had a personal experience with her eg. personal reading, phone reading, seminar, etc?

1. About the psychic part. I heard her once state that she was a

medium meaning that she talked to the dead. She claimed she wasn't a psychic though. Personally, I really don't get the difference but I'm just saying what she said. Yes, I have seen her show. She seems to have real gifts.

2. FWIW, what I get about Lisa Williams is somewhat sketchy.

I also think her show feels highly "massaged" (read: staged) and at minimum she is overrated.

3. I really enjoyed her show. Unfortunately, it has been canceled

as per a newsletter I got from her about two weeks ago.

4. I was in Ojai this past weekend and she had just been in a great

"new age" shop (kind of like a mini-Bodhi Tree) called Soul-Centered. The owner of the store also runs it and Lisa Williams had just purchased a painting by a local Ojai artist. My friend is trying to get a private reading for her daughter with Lisa but she can't find out if she does them.

5. I'm seeing her this Sunday

She's going to be at the LA Conscious Expo in Los Angeles. My friends and I bought tickets to see her and a few others there. I'll definitely let you know what I think. On her TV show, she comes across extremely vivacious. I'm been so excited to see her - just hope I'm not totally disappointed as I have been so many times in the past.

6. We have a "local" lady who does billets.

Her name is Cyndy Green and she lives in Tulsa, I think - She does Spirit Fairs all over the midwest here, in Springfield and Kansas City, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, etc. She is amazing but she only charges $5 to attend a billet session, where everyone writes down a question on a piece of paper; these are picked up in baskets, then taken up to Cyndy, who is blindfolded twice and picks up the billets and presses them to her head. Then she begins to connect with her spirit friend and talks to people on the other side; both times I went she spoke to me. Once my father came across and another time my deceased ex-husband. I'm a born skeptic in these matters, but there is no way she could have made this up. She told my daughter she was going to have a baby soon, and at that time there was no plan; she got pregnant three months later. She told a friend of mine he was going to move to Mississippi, and at the time his wife and he were toying with moving back to Arkansas, but within six months they had sold their home and moved to Mississippi. She did all this without prompting, without talking to us except to say something that would tell us that it was our message. (We put down a person on the other side to connect to, and she would call their name and say that so and so was here to talk to their daughter, etc.)
Anyway, she also does individual readings, and I've had her do one for me; she was right on and it was a time when I needed some advice.She Charges $35 for online readings, which are really email readings.
