191st MP soldiers to deploy to Iraq

More than 180 soldiers from the North Dakota National Guard’s 191st Military Police Company will leave Sunday for Fort Dix, N.J., to train for their upcoming deployment to Iraq.

The soldiers were alerted for possible mobilization July 20, 2007.

To mark their deployment, the Guard has organized a number of sendoff ceremonies in cities such as Bismarck and Fargo.
