50 YEARS OF "UNDER GOD." LET'S KEEP IT THAT WAY!

Seen on an SUV that also sported a BUSH/CHENEY '04 sticker.

1. These obnoxious assholes are just the tip of the iceberg.
It's the enormous underlying mass that scares me!

2. At least he knows it's only fifty years . . .
Most Republicans don't even know that.

3. We live in the REVENGE OF THE TELEEVANGELISTS ERA
As I read the pundit pap ob apj, I see they are gradually replacing the beltway pundits on the Sunday talk shows. I was wondering if it would feel any different - should I look. I mean, bunch of GOP-ers arguing about ways of worshipping W vs bunch of clerics arguing about ways of worshipping god....

5. How about "In case of rapture, this car will be unmanned,"
That bumper sticker annoys the living hell out of me. I can't decide if it's a believer's way of bragging or if it's a way of saying, "Screw you guys, I'm going to heaven,"

I saw one the other day that said, "In case of rapture can I have your car?"

7. I Like Mine Better
213 YEARS OF THE FIRST AMENDMENT. LET'S KEEP IT THAT WAY!

OK, not as catchy, but it works for me.

December 15th, 1791 - First Amendment was ratified.

Sorry, just having some fun...

8. Works for me too.
Repukes are running the world on stupid slogans. And I find this one to be Anti-American by my standard.

9. I refuse to have one. On the other hand,
one of my patient the other day was aggravated by a priest driving a pearly white Saab with "AMEN" on the plate...

10. The ones that are copyright violation ...
pseudo-Calvin (from Calvin and Hobbes) praying at a big cross are the ones that give me serious reflux. Like Watterson really would ever have shown Calvin being reverent over anything but a spaceship or a snowball. The 'pseudo-Calvin pissing on the Chevy/Ford/Chrysler symbol' was bad enough -- and I think Watterson (or his publisher) actually sued a few people over that -- but at least the premise was mischief. Calvin would no more have prayed than he'd have eaten broccoli.

11. I need to get a good anti-Christian, liberal bumper sticker for our car
maybe one that says something like "Proud to be a Godless Heathen" or something...
