And the snowboarding pic. I really love that pic!

5. He looks so graceful in that snowboarding pic
How can people call that elitist. It's because most of the Red states don't get snow, that's it. Wisconsinites snowboard, and windsurf, and jetski. In the winter we have tons of snow, and in the summer we have tons of lakes.

Sheesh.

But I do love the athleticism of that snowboarding pic.

10. I'm not a fan of snow myself...
But it's related to a bad personal experience with being stuck on top of a mountain in snow, and I certainly don't associate politics with it.

He just looks so cool snowboarding. It's really great. :D

3. Thanks for the pics
Why isn't he president? It's so unfair all these people want to give him only one chance to run. :argh:

6. It just seems so wrong
Edited on Thu Mar-31-05 11:23 PM by Hans Delbrook
He was obviously meant to be president. It's a perversion of nature and justice that instead we have an illiterate, self-aggrandizing, blood-thirsty, cowardly, ignoramus who cares only for money, power, and oil.

7. I agree
During the debates he acted, looked, and sounded presidental you would have thought he was pres instead of Smirky. It's too bad Dems treat former nominees like garbage. Gore also would have made a good president too.

16. You are so right!
Can anyone honestly see chimpy in any of these pictures, looking so natural and genuine? I certainly can't. John Kerry is a natural with people, kids, you name it. Chimpy can't even stay on his bicycle, let alone snowboard!

John Kerry is so presidential, so knowledgable, honorable, although I don't have to tell any of you this, we all know it and have known it all along. It still hurts when I think of what could have been.

15. Yes, that is Marvin
Who's Marvin? Sigh! Marvin is John Kerry's 'Chief of Stuff.'

There is an actual term for that on Capitol Hill, Marvin is a 'body guy.' He takes care of getting stuff and making sure schedules are met, breakfasts are ordered, shirts arrive precisely when they are needed, cell phones have spare batteries at the precise moment their prior batteries are exhausted, pb&j sandwiches are ready and edible and things like that. And I like him because he appears so even-tempered and unflappable. He is one of those indispensible people who do priceless things that end up making the universe run on time. I just find that fascinating.

17. It would take a very special kind of person
who wants to always be trying to restore order out of chaos. That Marvin is still his chief of stuff (interpreting from the meaning of is) after a hectic campaign, they both must respect and like each other. Wouldn't it be interesting years down the road, if Bush's "Marvin" talked about life with him.
