I am afraid that giant in the cellar wont be there for long, oh well, at least you guys will probably make the playoffs, I came to like the red sox a whole lot more over the weekend.

3. Why, cuz of that D-Rays fracas?

I've decided not to be a worry wort. The Sox were 10 games down at one point last year and came back to be the champs. I remember specifically because I was in Hawaii at the time, and I met this guy from Boston on the beach and he was telling me not to worry. Then I walked up to a bar at this hotel to check the Sox/Yanks score. We were losing again, and across the bar I saw someone who I thought was Ben Afleck bitching about the game, but I wasn't sure it was him. Later I figured out that it really was Afleck, but I'm glad I didn't embarass myself by being like "Hey, Afleck!" But anyway...

That thing in Tampa was a hoot. Didn't see that coming. Who gets in a fight with the Rays? Furthermore, who are the Rays to think they should fight anybody? Oh well, sometimes the entertainment doesn't really involve the game. I'm going to see the Rays tomorrow at Skydome, oops, I mean "Rogers Centre" when they play the Jays on $2 Tuesday. A bunch of girls I know are going and they're dragging me along (poor me ;) ) I think I'll bring my economics textbook and study at the game. Goodness knows there probably won't be much action on the field, and I can explain the rules in my sleep, so that won't take much concentration.

Well, hats off to the Birds tonite. We meet at dawn on the Fenway Park field of honor...

I wasnt worried too much at all, you guys will be fine, we all have bad series once and then, and the first game was anyone's game, I watched some of it on TV on the sox network no less while I Was in Boston. I like the sox a lot more now, a lot of good sox fans I met while I was in Boston.
