Any hardwood floor advice?

We're installing hardwood floors over terrazzo. I'm looking for tips from other diy'ers on what to expect and how to avoid problems.

1. A floating floor or a glued down floor?

There's a big difference....

2. It will be glued down

over the terrazzo. The terrazzo is in good shape.

3. in FL i'd do some serious research on keeping the moisture from

building up between the two surfaces. Here in AZ it's not an issue, FL I expect it's a bigger concern.
