I wish the international community would step in. The Bushies* have never intended for this to be anything other than a facade. In a way, I find Sadaam's antics a bit amusing...
He may be as bad as the Bushies* have tried so hard to portray him. I certainly can understand why many Iraqis would want (and deserve) vengeance against him. But, I really cringe at the thought of this "judicial" farce ending up in an execution. Frankly, it makes me ill. But, then too does nearly everything we have done in Iraq the past 4+ years.
Will I ever feel pride at being an American again? :shrug:
