Looks Like The Repubs Are Pissed Off At Ministry Again |
|
Edited on Thu Apr-06-06 12:00 PM by InfoMinister
I remember that PABAAH put them on their boycott list awhile back. They're back with a new album. Check out the picture on the Amazon page. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000F3AAZW/sr=8-1/qid=1144342562/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-4012432-6177513?%5Fencoding=UTF8The Repubs are already talking about it because of some controversial 9/11 comments they're making in their songs. http://www.perspectives.com/forums/view_topic.php?id=93609&forum_id=5You can hear the song that's getting their panties in a bunch right here http://www.911blogger.com/files/audio/Ministry-Lieslieslies.mp3

5. Subtle as ever, I see. |

They kinda lost me with Psalm 69.
Glad to see they're on our side, though.

Probably my 2nd favorite of theirs. LORAH is my favorite one.

7. Different strokes and all that. "Land of Rape and Honey" was a guilty |
|
pleasure when I happened upon it back when it was released. Made me go back and listen to their disco-y stuff and "Twitch".
The stuff that followed, I wasn't so thrilled with.

Heh, actually there are a few people on the Ministry boards that seem to like it. Never considered LORAH a guilty pleasure. Most people think it's an essential release for that genre.

I'd never seen that before. Wow.
It's funny for so many reasons.
BTW, if LORAH was a guilty pleasure, "Revenge" is a guiltier one. A lot of the tunes from "With Sympathy" aren't any great shakes, but their hit single is a classic. And if it'd never hit, well... the world would be a different place, wouldn't it?
(Kinda like if "Creep" hadn't been a hit for Radiohead.)
