I was reading Eschaton today, and he pointed out yet another crappy column by Joe Klein. I have subscribed to Time for years, and Eschaton is right: The columns in Time have been steadily tilting to the right. Anyway, why should I pay to read that crap when I can get TalkRadio for nothing (there is real value for money there).
So I wrote the following:
To the editor
Subject: One sided columnists
I have been a subscriber to Time for many years.
I have noticed a distinctly rightward tilt from the columnists Time has published in the last few years. I am a Democrat. If Time cannot, or is unable, to hire some of the many talented liberal columnists that are writing elsewhere, I will let my subscription lapse and move on.
And just so we are clear, Joe Klein does not cut it.
Thank you for your attention.
Anyway, my two cents. I never wrote a letter to an editor before (highly introverted engineer)

Maybe I will just switch. I really like to follow the news and I appreciated the column (article?) by General Newbold, but why the lousy columns?
