The Donald -- who says he declined to invest with Bernie Madoff when invited -- calls the shamed former fund manager "definitely a sleazebag" in a radio interview that airs tonight.



"Access Hollywood's" Billy Bush talks exclusively with Donald Trump for radio's nationally syndicated "The Billy Bush Show" airing tonight, regarding his thoughts on the Bernard Madoff financial scandal. "He is definitely a sleazebag," Trump told Bush. "There is no question about it." Excerpts from the interview will air on "Access Hollywood" tomorrow, Thursday, December 18, 2008.

Madoff, who was recently arrested for securities fraud, had previously asked Trump to invest with him on numerous occasions. Trump, who always declined to invest, said, "I never knew he was such a guru. He was like the Svengali for rich people."

Trump, who had many friends in Palm Beach that invested with Madoff, elaborated, "It's a crazy thing. It has destroyed a lot of families and a lot of people."
