John McCain on Bush:
"I voted for Bush in 2000 and 2004. And not only that, far more important than a vote, I campaigned everywhere in America for him. I enjoyed it! I campaigned with him. I did everything I could to get him elected, and reelected President."

hmmm....Thanks?

1. I repeat...
Why doesn't McCain just release his voting record to prove whether he voted for Dumbya or not?!?!?

I don't get it.

4. "I enjoyed it."
So, either you're a psychopath who enjoys supporting a mass murderer and torturer for eight years - or you're a lying sack of shit. Please take your pick, Mister McCain. We're waiting.

7. I don't know.
Don't you think this has to be his strategy at this point? I mean it's pretty pathetic, but I think he's campaigning for Republicans' votes. It seems his best chance to win is to energize the Republican base - I think his campaign has to know that he's going to pull ZERO Democrats and very few Independents. And I think the Republican base is leery of him, not sure whether he's a "true" conservative, so to reassure them, he's talking about how much of a Bush fan he is. To take another example, it's not like it would exactly be an unpopular position for him to take a critical stance of the war, even as a Republican (clearly many R's are wanting the war to end now, too) but he might be to the right of Bush himself on the war. I don't think he's aiming for center - at least not right now. I guess that's a good thing, because if he starts moving toward center getting closer to the GE, then we should have plenty of soundbites from the primary season to bust him on when he thought nobody was paying attention to anything but the Democratic race...

9. After he screwed you over in the primaries?? That "man" is absolutely pathetic, either way.
