8. you added "by" - that's a quote too ("quote marks") meaning it's from a headline, not the vid title
The Field is a blog which criticized Hillary's actions as food for the McCain campaign. jed was just citing it along with all the other quoted citations in the vid.

2. Are we celebrating this video??
I'm afraid I don't understand...what goes on here...an AD for McCain??? Ya know...we keep shooting ourselves in the foot...election after election....wouldn't you think we'd learn that a house divided against itself, cannot stand...???

I am appalled by this, I don't give a shit how many times she's lied...we are ALL DEMOCRATS, right??? and we need to stick together, instead of continually tearing each other apart, right??? Hasn't enough damage been done, the last 3 days???...Now we have the Republicans piling on???? I don't want McCain putting this ad out there...I'm not happy about it...it makes us all look bad...

maybe everyone needs to go read this thread currently posted on this site...it might give people a clue as to what may be going on here...wb

3. Haven't you heard?
Obamaniacs are just positive that they'll "win in a landslide" with 25% of the vote in November. It's all that 'hope,' don't you know, just like in that book "The Secret." You just wish for things and they come true. Somehow. I haven't quite figured it out yet.

But you've got to hand it to them. They're the best thing that ever happened to the McSame campaign, as is illustrated here.

13. See what I mean?
Let's see. About half the country votes republican. The other half votes democrat. Of the democratic half, it's about half for Obama and half for Clinton.

The swill that Obamamaniacs fling around does a pretty good job of alienating the Clinton half, meaning they'll stay home in November. (A few, I suppose, will vote for McSame.)

Get back to me on that 25 - 33% 'victory,' okay?

I used to like Obama. But I'm not giving my imprimatur to someone who is the darling of a group of wild-eyed lunatics. You can attack me if you like. But each attack is just another nail in the coffin for any democrat to win in November.

Lately, I've started to think that's been the plan all along.

11. I am really concerned about what this party is going to look like
once this primary is settled...oh, I haven't forgotten any of what's happened, but I always try to keep one thought in mind, that thought being....how anything that sounds to good to be true, usually is...I became sorely disillusioned last election season...and it hasn't worn off quite yet...

Sad to say, I think we could take a lesson or two from the Republicans...when one of them gets into any kind of trouble....they don't eat their own, they gather round to protect and deal with whatever the situation is....eventually, sometimes quickly, the one/s involved, are replaced and quietly disappear into the background....how many times in the last 8 years have they had a scandal serious enough for us to have brought them down, yet we haven't been able to do it...because they stand up for one another, and close ranks when things get tough...they also KNOW they can divide us, so that's exactly what they set out to do, and it always works...you'd think we'd learn..

It should be obvious, that I am seriously conflicted...I don't trust what I am witnessing, and I feel something is wrong....I wonder if we could be in for some big surprises yet...in the meantime, perhaps we shouldn't cut our noses off to spite our face...maybe it would be better to allow this to run it's course, while trying NOT to eat our own...wb

4. Not paid for by McCain.
The quote cited referred to how Hillary's "misstatements" hand the rethugs a campaign ad on a silver platter.

5. Good job by Jed report. It would be nice to get one going on McCain since Hillary is done.
Things like this are why she didn't win. Time to move on to the main event. With McCain's long record it should be easy to nail him like this.

10. Very mixed feeling about this video
On the one hand, Senator Clinton has been caught on a few things and sometimes admitted as much, the Bosnia story being a prime example. And she can rationalize her vote on the use of force in Iraq just as much as she did when she cast it, but she knew the way that Bush was pushing that vote. She knew she was handing a loaded rifle to him and letting him slip the safety off.

However, her comment about baking cookies is an indictment of people trying to fit her into a mold, not her view of women who stay at home. It's not an elitist comment at all. The clip they have of her supporting NAFTA is a very weak one. NAFTA is "proving its worth"? It sounds like she didn't find it very worthy to begin with. And does anybody really see a conflict of interest in the Clintons using money that they earned to support their campaign, regardless of where they earned a small portion of it?

I suppose people have to make and view and believe things like this to justify voting against Clinton since she's such a strong candidate and would make such a great president. I don't. I simply think Barack Obama would be better for this country -- a clean and complete break from the past.

15. Very intelligent post boloboffin
I've been an Obama support, and i've been turned off a bit by Hillary over the course of this primary, but not enough to actively campaign against her. Its not a respectable practice to tarnish your own allies (and its happening on both sides)

I just take solace in the thought that more level headed people just don't have as much to say as the more temperamental people on both sides.

Don't forget this is an online forum. The poles of thought tend to be hi-lighted in this kind of environment with more balanced comments hidden in the seas of replies or simply thought but not typed.

12. K&R Thank you for posting this
It shows exactly the HRC I have come to loathe.

It also shows why she would never win the GE!

It shows the real HRC: a craven, lying, power-hungry, narcissistic sociopath.
