Thanks. I missed the show tonight because of the Texas/Texas Tech game, so I'll have to look for it on a rerun sometime. Sounds like it was one I didn't want to miss.
I'm anxious to see Ben Affleck as Olberman. That's got to be a hoot!

that was the dullest SNL in a long time. And while I enjoyed watching Palin's deer-in-the-headlights performance, McCain was given the material he wanted, there was not much self-depreciation, mostly attempted humor at Obama's expense. And the Keith Olberman satire featuring the talentless Mr. Afleck barking was insulting without being funny. I'm sure McCain was laughing behind the curtain though.
I guess they either were intimidated by Senator McCain or they felt they owed him a show of his own. I am hoping that the Monday SNL special will be a little more balanced and funny.

5. I think it was funny and more showed how tragic his campaign was than anything else.> |

If you consider Ayers was an epic fail yet they still want to push it as a product. The overall joke was we're not buying it. McCain was pretty much dismantled from what I saw.

while McCain gets left in the dust. Honestly, he really was not that funny, but I will still give him credit for poking fun at himself. Alas, he is nothing like that other guy who was on SNL in 2002, I think? (Ya know, the sketch where he is an "evil" husband invading Amy Poehler's private space on a Lifetime movie. Now that was a side splitting riot!) What was his name?.........Oh yes, I remember now!
JOHN McCAIN!
I wonder whatever happened to that progressive leaning politician from Arizona, I think he disappeared about three years ago. Hey, there's gotta be a missing persons report filed on him somewhere.
