Seriously, about the socialist/Marxist barbs that have been flying for the last couple of weeks (and I heard them from radio pundits before the McCain campaign adopted them, so they're not even using original material):

The Republican party has moved so far to the right over the last few decades that they don't remember what a moderate looks like. Obama looks like he's pretty much staight down the center of American opinion, which is why he's going to win by an overwhelming majority in a couple of days.

(Yes, I'll be working. I've volunteered to drive folks to the polls.)
