2. WOW!
Bruuuuce!
He never fails to move me to tears...a true poet, gritty and real. I have only been to a few concerts in my life, one of which was Amnesty Intl in 1988 at the Oakland Coliseum...

I had just graduated that June and had a sense that the world was my oyster, but no clue about real LIFE.
"Thunder Road" was our anthem, my best friend and I.
We used to take "discovery tours" on the back roads of the Bay Area in my Mustang and take black & white photos of old barns and other things we thought were telling the "american" story....all the while blasting Bruce on the tape deck and thinking how great it was to be free.

I haven't felt that sense of possibility in a LONG time...and I am welling up with it again... This old girl still has some dreams left! I pray my 40th year on the planet will be one where our freedom is a collective awakening. A place where we all can come together and feel the wind blow back our hair...and laugh with the possibility that our horizon holds something GOOD, no more fear of what awful thing will happen tomorrow.

This election is a paradigm shift, plain & simple... and I am moved to be a part of it.!!

3. What an inspiring song..
Nothing more powerful than a singer/songwriter who backs themselves up on their instrument. Strips down the song to its essentials--good music and great lyrics.

I miss my Takamine concert body guitar... it got crushed by UPS when it was shipped to me (I didn't know it was being sent to me or else I would have bought a shipping case for it).
