which is a good thing, considering that the republicans have been shitting talking points in their heads for years.
"the Justice Dept. has been shitting in my head"!! Wouldn't that be great if Conyers used that in his closing statement?

So many parts of that are frightening to me. First, that such a powerful lawyer has no understanding of how the law works. I mean, come on, I knew that once you are granted immunity your Fifth Ammendment rights are considered void. How could she possibly be unaware of that? Then we have Gonzales blaming a guy and then saying it wouldn't have happened if he were more involved. Then we have the fact that comedians need only relay the outrageous series of events in order to garner laughs. The United States government has become theater of the absurd.

Stewart explained that in the first few sentences of the piece. She's a graduate of Pat Robertson's Regent University Law School and Messiah College. :puke: They only study god's laws there, not the laws of man. :eyes: No wonder she was so confused. Nothing in the bible covers any of this actual mortal "law stuff". :silly:
And these are the people the GOP wants to stack our court system with! :banghead: These are the people they think are best suited for interpreting the Constitution. :banghead: :banghead:

14. SACRIFICE A VIRGIN FOR THE CAUSE |
|
the GOP has an endless supply of sacrificial virgins just getting damp thinking about throwing it down for the cause. they don't understand what the cause is, but when you live in a male dominated authoritarian environment LIKE the GOP... what else is an outspoken, slightly brighter than average girl to do?
kill your boyfriend and marry the president?
carry a sandwich board with fetus pictures pasted on it?
drive a hummer to soccer practice?
get shit-faced with your twin sister?
become an addict?
pose as the black Alfred E. Newman, cousin of Baghdad Bob, spreading misinformation on a global scale?

He really is the best journalist on TV (except for Bill Moyers, but Moyers isn't on 4 nights a week).
