Tennessee Lt. Governor Ron Ramsey is pushing hard for Tennessee to select the Tennessee Attorney General and Reporter through a statewide "popular election" in Tennessee, yet Ramsey passed over his opportunity to sponsor 2009 legislation for a constitutional amendment by Senator Andy Berke that proposed statewide popular elections for three high state offices in Tennessee: Tennessee Secretary of State; Tennessee Attorney General and Reporter, and; TNGA Lt. Governor of Tennessee.

Why do you suppose that Ramsey is not pushing for the Office of Lt. Governor to be filled through popular election by Tennessee voters...?
