Question about the rest of the primaries |
I know that polls are meaningless right now, but it's looking like the establishment is winning over the new Dem progressive movement in NV (I heard HRC is expected to win tommorrow), but I am still hoping that Obama can pull it out and win in South Carolina.
Not to sound like a concerned supporter, I guess (like the thread that beachmom posted), I am disenchanted with the way things are going this week. Yep. I know there is a long way to go, but still. One brighter side is that my news-minded father who thought there would be nothing left to throw at them IF they get it again, thinks this time, there is a lot more after listening to them the last few weeks.

1. Well, say the polls hold, and Obama win SC and Clinton wins NV, |
then they're still tied going into Super Tuesday. This race is very tight, and we're just going to have to steel our nerves for what is coming. I think, however, that there is something to be hopeful about no matter what happens. Obama has created a movement and a vision that is attractive to a lot of people. That's not going away. Hopefully, he'll be the nominee, but even if he doesn't make it (and he IS the insurgent candidate, so this is tough), he'll have changed so much already.

3. I'm actually encouraged about Obama's chances because the level of vitriol from HRC is so high |
I think they are panicking, and are in total attack mode. I hope this means they'll get sloppy and make stupid mistakes.
