my suggestion for tonight - simply congratulate Clinton supporters and not engage them
when they talk of how it changes the election or the popular vote

Tomorrow we are going to see super delegates come out in serious numbers

Obama is only 150 delegates away from the nomination and they are going to have it all wraped up by next Tuesday.

2. Hi! First time over here (more sanity)
I agree. Think I'll even hang out in the Lounge and the Gardening section. I will stop in GD:P to offer my regards and move on.

:hi: everybody

3. I never engage them anymore.
First, I've never been one to seek out conflict. But now, with Obama's nomination a certainty, why bother. They have to work it out for themselves, and will only give up once she does.

And is anybody else as sick of TV coverage of the primaries as I am? We are well into the fifth month, and they just keep saying the same things day after day after day. :boring: I did see Obama's speech in MO, but then turned it off after Tweety insulted it. Instead, I'm rediscovering the other channels again and watching things like movies and nature programs!

4. It has become simply unpleasant to engage them further.
As her candidacy slowly slips under the water, they are becoming more and more bitter, having lost sight of this election being for the common good, now focusing on it being all about her. They are pissed she lost and anxious to deliver their unhappiness upside your head every chance they get.
