5. That's great!
Looks like a Coast Redwood. RIP Miss Molly. The outpouring of love for her is wonderful.

9. Thanks for posting those.
It's heartwarming to see how people have noticed her passing. Now I hope people will be out banging their pots and pans against the war... even if it's just figuratively.

10. I don't go over there.
It gets my blood pressure up too high reading their brand of hate.
But it wouldn't surprise me that those so-called Christians would celebrate that lovely woman's death.
They are disgusting.

11. Very nice
I like how the trees in the background bend towards Molly/the non-shrub, almost in reverence.

14. I know that tree!
It's the General Sherman in (MY) Sequoia National Park! The largest tree in the world.

15. I bet you're right
Knowing that makes it even more special. I loved Molly but I am amazed at how many people, in so many places, are noticing her passing and honoring her. She so deserves it. She was a light, a treasure.

16. I love Sequoia's, that's how I chose my name.
Yes, I saw that cartoon and General Sherman came to mind right away.

Oh to see that tree and those ones in Mariposa Grove in Yosemite. You are there and the trees are like silent giants but if you mediate you can just feel their spirit. I told my SO I wanted to be creamated and my ashes scattered around. Of course, that may not happen but it's a nice thought. All of you must go there someday. You must!

17. I saw Sequoias when I visited SF
I went to a smaller park though, the name escapes me but I am so very grateful that I got to see those beautiful enormous trees. You can't feel anything but Peace to stand next to solid time.

18. I'll wager it was John Muir park.
Suddenly there's trees and then the city.

21. That's was the one!
Muir Woods. I couldn't remember the name. I'd love to go back and go to the larger park with the drive-thru trees. For a Jersey girl it was quite the sight! :hi:

20. When our Benson nails it, it stays nailed. I've often disagreed with him,

but he is a conservative (not even that much of one) who truly has a conscience.

Damn, gotta go buy the Republic for that one; I haven't bought one in over a year!

Edit: I've had the pleasure of meeting him and he is a very warm, intelligent, and very funny man.
