Congress Is Simply Ignoring Us. What Now?
Of course not all the members but the bulk of them are going along with Bush War Plans despite all manner of effort by folks. Yes they wil use all manner of rhetorical devices for political cover but that still boils down to complicity.

What we are doing at the present is not working as Congress turns a deaf ear to our pleas. What's next?

1. I have suggested time and again that we drive 55mph to protest
It is totally legal. A few days of tied up roads and clogged freeways may get some attention. Plus it would save oil at the same time.

2. People in the cities will pay attention,

4. I'd think driving 55 will clog highways everywhere
And after a few days people and businesses will be screaming, screaming for somebody to do something.

3. And who is running for reelection in 2008
I know that it's a long way off. But it's part of the strategy to get them to listen and act now.
