This predicament we find ourselves in is not the work of one man. IMHO, bush* isn't smart enough |

on his own to assemble the minds necessary to pull this coup off. What kind of a persons are these, I have to personally think there are many involved, that can plot and scheme a takeover of our government that would allow them to achieve their goals as they have. junior was picked for the job because of his being a lying conniving heartless bastard complete with strings who will do anything and is as dumb as the ole proverbial box of rocks insuring his being manipulatable. The ones behind the curtains are the ones I worry about, for as long as they stay in the dark they will always be there to continue their quest.

I have the same feeling. This is much larger than the White House fool and his close circle might have cooked up. They're pure evil, but I feel there are darker forces at work here.

Bushieboy isn't smart enough; he's just the puppet. Who's behind it? The PNACers, for starters (Cheney, Pearle, Kristol, et al.), plus the megacorporate interests. Defense contractors. War profiteers. Big Oil. Follow the money.

|
are very much in the shadows, not to see the light of day. these front men/women are being paid dearly for their service I might add

6. It has been this way since Ford |
|
The Republicans/NeoCons learned during Nixon not to let a smart selfdriven man in office. They lose control. So instead they back charismatic idiots. People that require handholding and guidance behind the scenes.
The NeoCons entered the halls of power under Reagan. While he himself was not a NeoCon he used their assistance in appealing to the religious right to win the election. As a reward they were given positions of power within the cabinet. And from there it has all been downhill.
