Wallace Calls Out Feith For Lying On Fox News
Last week on Fox News Sunday, former Rumsfeld aide Douglas Feith told Chris Wallace, “Nobody in my office ever said there was an operational relationship between Iraq and Al Qaeda. It’s just not correct. I mean, words matter.”

Fox News pursued the matter and did a follow-up report this week. Wallace reported, “It turns out he did make that case in a memo he sent to the Senate Intelligence Committee in October of ‘03.” Watch it:

FEITH: Nobody in our office said there was an operational relationship between Iraq and al Qaeda. It’s not correct. Words matter.

WALLACE: But it turns out he did make that case in a memo he sent to the Senate Intelligence Committee in October of ‘03. “The Weekly Standard,” which saw the memo, described it this way. “Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein had an operational relationship from the early 1990s to 2003 that involved training and explosives and weapons of mass destruction, logistical support for terrorist attacks, al Qaeda training camps and safe haven in Iraq, and Iraqi financial support for al Qaeda.”

3. Maybe his father finally got through to him
that obediently lying for the RNC on Pox News would destroy his credibility permanently.

The one constant in this universe is change. Eventually things will change, and "journalists" of Pox News calibre will find themselves failed novelists.

6. I saw this guy Feith on Charlie Rose the other night--Feith giggled and
smirked through the entire interview.

I guess dead American soldiers is really amusing to him.

He ought to go over to Walter Reed Hospital and say hello to the dudes with blown off arms and legs.

Half a man is more than Douglas Feith will ever be . . .

8. In his next interview, Feith will say that he never said that there never was
an operational relationship between Iraq and Al Qaeda. He will also say that words matter, lots of words matter.

10. comparison
kind of like Geoffry Dahlmer letting one of his victims leave instead of killing and eating him.

Even Hitler had a dog, you know?

we'll see how reformed Chris is in the future, I guess?
