Have Obama and Edwards ever hinted at who they might consider for running mates? |
Would either man offer the position to a woman?

6. Yes, but I don't think Edwards would run as anyone's VP. |
He got burned too badly last time. He is running his campaign strictly as his own man. I don't think he even follows the advice of his advisers if his instincts tell him not to.

9. I agree. He's not likely to accept the number two spot on a ticket. |

12. However, there may come a time |
when the choice will be, 1.) Take a spot as Veep, or 2.) Go Home.

7. It might have been on Charlie Rose, but some TV interviewer |
asked Edwards whose candidate Edwards' supporters would most likely move to if Edwards did not get 5%. Edwards said he thought most would go to Obama.

2. When Obama was on the David Letterman show, |
Letterman asked him about the idea of sharing the ticket with Hillary Clinton. His reply: "In which order?" (huge applause from audience)

10. I'm not thinking Clinton, either. But, off the top of my head, I'm having trouble... |
...coming up with a woman who would energize an Obama or Edwards ticket. Surely, there are some female politicians who would be great for the VP position.

4. I really don't want her as No. 2, but I'm sure the winning candidate would love |
to have access to her very extensive campaign war chest.

5. Edwards would probably go with Obama |
Not sure about the reverse. I don't think Edwards wants to be a VP candidate again.

11. I think Hillary would make a great vp |
But I don't see Edwards offering her the position (and I'm voting for him! but I think they are too different)
I could see Obama doing it though, I think their cloth is similar as were their messages and styles.

17. If they have they're not going to tell you--It's all part of the theater. |
We'll know who the nominee will be probably in February. The next ooooohhhhh, who will it be guessing game, will be the choice of running mate. That should take up a great deal of speculation on the part of TV and keyboard pundits alike.

18. bayh is the leading cadidate for vp on intrade |
though I think the assumption would be he would be hillary's vp.. not sure obama would pick him but strategically it would be a good bet for him, even though he's not very well liked at du.
