I thought the Hillary hate and vile messages were done for a while |
|
by the newbies are at it again. This morning it was nice to come to DU. We learned a lot of stuff about what was going on in the world. And some of the people posted about Obama, but in informative format. Now the hate has started again. They have ruined this site.

1. I find myself coming here less and less |

well, at least to GD Politics. Some of the other Forums are still intelligent and civilized.

I never used it until last week. A lot of true color were shown both good and bad after Iowa.
Maybe the little Obama "boo-birds" joined up.

11. The Republicans WANT her to be the nominee. |
|
That's their fondest -- and only -- hope. Without her to motivate their minions to come out to vote, they're going down, and they know it.

13. They want the weakest link, and she is definitely it. |
|
Democratic voters who initially gave soft support to her campaign due to simple name recognition and media attention are realizing they have two far better alternatives, now that they are paying more attention to the campaigns.

So they resort to attacks. It's what they do. Attack, then whine about being attacked when someone responds.
Lather, rinse, repeat.

I think of the negative ones like tv commercials, and I just don't pay any attention, anymore. I'm getting really good at reading a few words, and if I come to something negative, I just stop reading and go on. Maybe it's a talent. Yeah, that's it: selective vision.

no star and bad-mouthing Hillary. I generally feel they're Republic trolls here to disrupt and accomplish the GOP work of being sure Hillary isn't nominated. I think the same thing happened in Iowa. The Democratic turnout was huge, the GOP turnout was half the Democratic turnout. No doubt a LOT of Republics crossed over to vote for Obama to be sure Hillary doesn't get nominated.

9. Yep. Some are disruptors... |
|
And some genuinely can't stand Hillary.
I would never say I hate her (way too strong a word); but I have no problem questioning the Hilbots for supporting a candidate determined to maintain the old school status quo. Hillary would lose in the GE, I can't fathom why Hil supporters still don't see that.
Yet in the end, if she is still standing as our nominee in August, I'll vote for her.
That is when any real negativity toward our nominee needs to end - but until we have finished our convention --- the negativity will continue. Its called Democracy. Its called the primaries.
And BTW, I'd be very happy with Edwards and almost as happy with Obama. Hillary = defeat. I doubt she will be our nominee anyway.

14. Zealots cannot change their behavior, that would be reasonable, and... |

by very definition a zealot cannot be reasonable! Religious, political, whatever zealots are intractable. It is just another manifestation of derangement of the mind.
