Cry once, shame on you, cry twice, shame on me. |
|
I'm torn...... I hate outright misogyny and double standards, but I can't stop the feeling that the emotional diplay Clinton showed was so planned. :( Sad if it was, pathetic if it swayed people's votes.
If it was strategy, don't think it should work twice. :(

12. DK...have you ever been in a situation where you are tired and raw and when someone |
|
asks you a kind question...like how do you deal with it...and you broke down?
HAve you ever been so tired that you've cried?
I don't like the assumption that what she did was a strategy because whether or not you believe it she is human.
She just got her ASS handed to her in IA. She was raw and tired and felt as though her work was all for not.
I wouldn't want to be a woman pres candidate who got choked up on the campaign trail.
If you can't at least see it as a candid act also then you weren't going to anyway.
If Obama were to choke up would you automatically think his shit is staged. Believe it or not they all put on a fucking show but people only wanna fuck with Hillary. Double-standard.

15. I said I was torn........... |
|
the cynic in me would say it's all a cheap, grasping political act, but the compassionate softie in me would say, heck, we all can break down.
I am sick of the double standard, of course, women can't be emotional, or show rage/anger/sadness/vulnerability.
You may not like my cynical assumption, but hey, can't please everybody.

2. Crying only made her weak, IMO |
|
Is she going to cry, pout and then bash her opponent now, every time things aren't going her way.

5. I'm sure yesterday she was thinking it was a very bad idea. |
|
Her crying didn't go over well at all, or so it seemed, however, the coverage afterwards apparently pissed off and disgusted a lot of people, including myself. The schadenfraude backfired. I don't care for Hillary all that much, so if I am willing to defend her and am livid about what I felt was unfair coverage and potshots taken at her, how more so for people who are undecided?

Hillary does not show emotion, she is cold and calculating. She shows, emotion, and she is still cold and calculating.
:eyes:
It never ends with the hate of Hillary, does it?

9. Why do people keep writing "crying" She got choked up |
|
she was NOT crying. Typical exaggeration when it comes to Clinton.
( I didn't start out as a Clinton supporter, but a Clinton defender. Opposed to the lies, hyperbole and exaggeration... )
