NEVER.
Either one party or the other had a candidate who carried both states--and frequently, at this point, we'd already be done, and it'd be perfectly clear what the General Election matchup was going to be.
Now, we have Clinton, Obama, McCain, and Huckabee.
You'd be a fool to believe that the country has picked a clear winner yet. An extremely contentious year is about to get even more interesting...
