One brother was a Hmong, one a former Israeli Army soldier, one was from Bangalore, another is a liberal photojournalist, another had grown up in a trailer, another grew up in public housing in Brooklyn, two of our brothers were completely deaf (cochlear implant), two of our brothers were openly gay.
