I'm Curious Why The CNN Front Page Says "Candidate" Demands Recount," But |
|
Edited on Fri Jan-11-08 01:47 PM by Dinger
when I click on the link, it mentions Kucinich in the headline? Maybe it's just me, but I suspect they might not want to give credit where credit is due, and by the way, is there any response by the other candidates? Wait, I can't hear you, the silence is deafening.

1. The link says: Ticker: Candidate demands N.H. recount |
|
And the top of the story says: Kucinich calls for New Hampshire recount. I didn't see "Candidate" like that in quotes.

3. Whoa, they actually acknowledged Kucinich is a candidate |
|
They usually just pretend he isn't even in the race. They've been trying for months to pretend the race for the Democratic nomination is only between two (and every once in a while, three) candidates.

4. an individual candidate must request a recount--in this case it's Kucinich |
|
and he's doing it to try to further expose the problems with electronic voting/counting. Hooray for Dennis!

7. Kucinich's name will not be given headline space. |
|
We can't have the sheeple discovering he exists- wouldn't be prudent.

12. Yup. Reporters write stories. EDITORS write headlines. |
|
Funny how folks don't understand the difference.

8. Why would they want to be tarred with his reputation |

which will only be enhanced when nothing is established as incorrect?

9. Generic "candidate" probably has better name recognition than Kucinich |
|
I'm sure DK wouldn't be upset, since I'm sure he was doing this as part of his civic duty to election integrity, not some headline-grabbing publicity stunt, right?
