The Democratic Agenda: Is the word "agenda" bad?

I think that we are in the process of a revolution in terms of the way we think of words and concepts. The term 'liberal' is not nearly as negative as it was a few years ago. The term 'socialist' is still considered bad. I've heard one Con say 'socialist-ic' just in order to make it sound worse. Actually, it's not an important word to me. But what about the word 'agenda'?

Is it really bad to have an agenda? I always considered the idea of an agenda positive, because it indicates foresight, an intelligent way of proceeding taking into account all possibilities.

Lately, with our dumbing down of society, I think that intelligent foresight has fallen by the wayside. But if things improve, this word 'agenda' may one day be uttered without humiliation.

So even if someone's candidate does not win in the primaries, I contend that they have at least succeeded in promoting the Democratic agenda. And that is something to be proud of. Even if the winner only represents 50% of the goals that you were seeking, that is a vast improvement over the mass destruction of our way of life that Republicans will pursue.

It may seem like a minor thought, but thinking, IMO, depends on being able to utter and think every word they have available, and by making a word taboo or psychologically illegal is one of the Reight's techniques.
