If Hillary dropped out of the race |
|
I believe her supporters would switch to Edwards.
If Obama dropped out, his supporters would probably also switch to Edwards.
I think Edwards is in a catch 22 here. I think his supporters would probably evenly split between Clinton and Obama. He is the "other" candidate for people who don't want to vote Clinton or Obama, and he is the second candidate for those who choose between Clinton or Obama as their first pick.
But as the situation stands now, he is stuck in third place.

2. By your given arguement, Edwards drops out... |
|
and the difference in support for Clinton and Obama stays the same. So if there is a 15% gap now, that gap would stay the same. Quite possible.

5. If Hillary dropped out before Edwards... |

which I don't think is likely, I would switch to Edwards for the simple fact I'm liking Obama less and less these days.

9. That was the establishment terror prior to the NH primary. |
|
They were losing sleep big time and went with a manufactured media distraction and a dubious election. Or at least in my paranoid delusional tin foil hat moments (i.e. 24/7) that is my guess about what we watched unfold last week.

10. Mine Would. I Was Originally Biden, Clinton, Edwards Then Obama. Now It's Clinton, Edwards, Obama. |
|
I still don't understand why Biden had such a poor showing, since when all emotions are taken out of it and it is looked at in perspective, I think he by far would've made the best president of the bunch. But what can ya do. Politics is politics.

I doubt that Biden would have let the discussion devolve to the extent it has. I'm really pretty put out by the Clinton/Obama camps' squabbling, and if Edwards dropped out, I don't know what I'd do. I'd have to think long and hard because I'm really not impressed by either Hillary or Barack at this point.

12. If Hillary dropped out of the race, there would be some hope for this country. |

Imagine a debate with Obama, Edwards, and Kucinich. Actual issues being discussed?? Oh shit, we can't have that, can we?
