Reid's Son Goes With Clinton Campaign
The Associated Press Sunday, February 18, 2007; 9:36 PM
WASHINGTON -- Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., has not endorsed a Democratic presidential candidate, but his son has.
Rory Reid is signing on as Nevada chairman for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential bid. He will be senior adviser on Western issues including public lands, transportation, resources and conservation, growth and affordable housing, the New York senator's campaign said in a statement Sunday.
Reid, 44, is chairman of the Clark County, Nev., Commission and a former chairman of the Nevada State Democratic Party.
The announcement prompted his father to release a statement noting he is still neutral.
"Rory is a 44-year-old man who makes his own decisions and I respect him for that, but let me be very clear: Rory's work with Sen. Clinton should in no way be taken as an endorsement by me," the senator said in a statement.

We could put it up on eBay, but state clearly in the ad this is a protest of NBC & all proceeds will be contributed to Dennis Kucinich's Campaign! It should be a DU event, anybody in???

42. Nah...I called MSNBC and e-mailed them...that's my last "activist thing" when my own Parrty |
|
allows this to happen to one of their candidates and only two states have voted. I can get the "snips" on "You Tube" of the debate. I can't in good conscience watch it when I contacted GE/MSNBC twice today and they managed with their CLOUT to get NEVADA SUPREMES back in SESSION for an EMERGENCY RULE to disallow a Dem Candidate from being included.
What the hell are they afraid of with Kucinich, anyway?
I made a phone call and e-mailed taking chance I'd be on BushCo/CIA/FBI LIST...I was polite...but next time they might stop me when I try to fly or whatever....I wish more DU'ers had stood up...but then I understand not all saw the ALERT in time to do anything. It's just disgusting...no matter how one tries to parse it in their favor...it's disgusting.
