This coming Sunday -- January 20th -- marks the beginning of the one-year countdown for what we can call, without exaggeration, the worst presidency ever.

So in looking forward to the last year of the Bush adminstration, we decided it would be best to reflect a bit on what we -- the members of the CREDO Action community -- were all able to accomplish in 2007:

* In Oregon, we helped restore funding for K-12 education, and pass Measure 49 to curb urban sprawl.

* We stopped -- temporarily -- the White House from granting retroactive immunity to big telecom companies ......
