The Hillary Hangover: or, why doctors sometimes break bones for better healing.
Edited on Thu Jan-17-08 12:54 PM by IdesOfOctober
All this handwringing talk about rending the party assunder lately gives me a headache.

Just as a doctor will sometimes break a bone further to reset it and ensure a good, clean, stronger healing process, so too must realignment elections sometimes fracture things a bit in the primaries, in order for the party to come together stronger than ever before for the general election.

Those who bring to light facts - and yes, they are facts - about Senator Clinton's duplicitous dealings with the financial services sector are not freepers, covert GOP ops, or alien lizards who've taken on human form.

They're patriotic Americans, loyal Constitutionalists, and intent on seeing the party come together stronger for the general election, so that America can get on with the Great Experiment.

So to those Hillary supporters who keep doing shots with her: you're gonna have a helluva hangover (trust me, what's she's serving you ain't top shelf, so you're really gonna feel it), but the rest of us will be here to make you a strong pot of homemade remedy, hold your hair back, and talk to you while you hug the crapper and get it all out of your system.

Then we'll all head out for a nice trip to the IHOP together. Or, maybe we'll swing by and grab a hair o' the dog somewhere.

:toast:

21. Aha - I stalked you
and you're lucky a certain candidates name wasn't listed there - there's an easier way to find people than the one you use - I wouldn't EVER use that way to find someone - very cumbersome, or something like that!

Edited on Thu Jan-17-08 05:08 PM by Perry Logan
"Masturbatory gloating" is the act of making something up to gloat about...then ostentatiously gloating about it, as with the OP. Wingers love to do it. Anti-Clinton people also practice it quite a bit.

33. Listen CorpGovOctober, If Ya Want To Donate To Charity, Donate To Charity.
If I want to donate to charity, I will do the same.

Charity should be the product of one's recognition that they have a desire to help others and have some goods or services they can afford to provide towards that end, not because of some childish bet.

And just because one is not the same person doesn't mean one doesn't share the same brain...

Have a good night CorpIdesGovOfActivistOctober :hi:
