Edwards is A Loser ... NOT!!

I watched "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" and he had on Lawrence O'Donnell commenting on the the Democratic Party's candidates' debates. It was funny how Mr O'Donnell immediately dismissed Edwards out of hand.

It seems to me Kieth Olbermann could have at least acknowledge that Mr O'Donnell was not totally objective. (See LO's blog entry:

Of course Mr O'Donnell has every right to his opinion. It is also appropriate for Kieth Olbermann to acknowledge Mr O'Donnell's desperate willingness to try to shut down and dismiss Edwards' candidacy.

1. O'Donnell is throwing a bit of a hissy fit on JRE of late. It's sad to see, since

any number of thousands of Democrats have/will be supporting Edwards' candidacy.

O'Donnell does have his moments of clarity, but like any journalist and all the rest of us, he has blind spots as well.

I would love to have heard Olbermann ask O'Donnell, "If you did not make the white-collar salary you make and had no or substandard health insurance, would you and your family not be better off under John Edwards' proposals for meaningful health care reform?"

4. Blind spot! that's very polite.

I used to like O'Donnell... I'm so disappointed (and pissed) with his recent vehemence towards Edwards. Even if he's not his candidate of choice.

And yes, that would have been a good question for Keith to include for balance.

2. I know! I'm getting really sick of this...

First the MSM refuses to cover the Kucinich campaign and exclude him from the debates and now Edwards is next. I was waiting for this... When DK was on Ed Schultz and Randi yesterday, he hit the nail right on the head. The MSM is successfully determining who our candidates are going to be...:grr:

Forgive the fairly minor focus here but I spot at least three diaries on his appearance on Countdown last night to discuss Obama, Reagan, and Edwards.

Worth tuning in for, though we rarely miss him here, since Keith is the one who regularly calls for apologies from the RW loudmouths and liars... If only they were so ready to apologize...:-(
