The two media backed front runners pandering to conservatives? Well color me shocked.

There may be liberals in the Democratic party, but the Democratic party as a whole sure isn't a liberal party. The choice, as usual, comes down to a conservative and a conservative.

Even during the only time when the American people have an opportunity to put some liberal politicians into the Democratic party -The primaries- they fall for the obvious media manipulation and vote for the status quo.

When am I going to hear Ms. Clinton or Mr. Obama proudly declare to the nation that they are "liberal"? Would Mr. Edwards do the same? Even Mr. Gore probably wouldn't. We'll hear "centrist" or "moderate" or "pragmatist" or "uniter" (whatever that means), but God forbid they ever refer to themselves as "liberal".

Because liberal is a dirty word now, isn't it?

I wonder if people are ever going to wake up. The worst president in the history of the country has, in 8 short years, flushed it down the toilet. You'd think that the two Democratic politicians leading in the polls would be the ones with liberal principles, not the two who are complicit, in one way or another, in the crimes of the conservative base.

I, for one, don't want a moderate or a centrist or a "bipartisan uniter". I WANT A LIBERAL.

2. I want a liberal too. I'm for Edwards. Kucinich isn't bad, but I doubt he ever had a chance. nt

4. To some extent Reagan was a uniter.
His high popularity rating proved this. I did not vote for him but I have to admit that a lot of independents did vote for him.

5. FDR in the 1930's is the ideal
He pulled this country together when we were in total economic collapse.
With his 'New deal' he put America back to work building our infrastructure,
pulled us out of the Great depression and made us proud for all we accomplished
thanks to his leadership-- To me he was the greatest president..

Obama is a corporate Democrat like Hillary. Obama said he would have Republicans
in his administration? How in the world will they change anything?

Sadly, they want Edwards to disappear ...It's sickening!
John Edwards is not buy-able but HE is viable!
If Edwards gets his message out --
we'd see a landslide victory, in November!

If Edwards is the next President of the United States.
He will take on out of control Corporations,
as did FDR.

"It is time for the president of the United States to ask Americans to be
Patriotic about something other than war" John Edwards-

Edwards is FDR with a Southern Accent
