taking the oath of office....and George W. Bush will be writing a note to that person at the Blair House...the traditional "note to the successor." (Normally, once they arrive in DC for the inauguration festivities, the President-Elect stays at the Blair House, since they aren't allowed to move belongings into the White House until after they take the oath.)

I'd like to steal a line from ultra right-winger Janet Parshall if I might...I'll never forget that on the night before George W. Bush's first inauguration, she was on tv saying "tomorrow we will breath clean air again and I can't wait."

Well....this exact time next year..I hope to say that we will be breathing cleaner air....I can't wait!

that cleans the air of the "presidential filth" i guess you could call it and try to employee it to clean up the rest of his mess that is not fixed magically when we get a new president.
the american psyche might get a cleansing but not this countries reputation, that gets transfered from president to president.
