...an unruly bunch of conflicted individuals, divided by the very things we have in common. While the Right goosesteps together into the future.

4. Depends on who you call "we" and what you call "left". |
|
The Democratic party is center, slightly to the right as far as global politics are concerned. Kucinich is actually centrist--slightly to the left.

5. Because the spectrum of positions has been artifically limited by MSM, |
|
were the actual spectrum of the People's positions relative to issues known, we would likely find the middle quite a bit more to the "Left" of where it is conventionally defined.
It is possible to infer this because, in a distribution skewed in the particular manner as that created by "coventional" "wisdom", the "center" is artificially to the right of where it actually is in reality.

6. The Left-Right labeling will kill us |

Why not just say what we're for and against?
I'm for everyone having the freedom to live the way they want as long as they're not attacking others (drop the drug laws, DOMA, all that bullshit)
I'm for everyone having food, shelter, health care, and a chance to go somewhere in life (even if it raises my taxes)
I'm for a government that's answerable to the people
I'm against attacking other countries just because we can
All of those are "Left-Liberal" positions, but they aren't as easy to disparage when you spell them out as they are when you just call them "Left"

Our voice has been silenced. I look at all the people who have spoken about the reality of our government, and their voice has been silenced. There is no talk about the long list of crimes committed by this administration with the help of the Democratic Party. There is no talk about our continuation of "Shock & Awe" in Iraq. No talk about the complete lack of information, and the saturation of mis-information that is available to the people in this country. No talk about the lack of security in our voting systems. I have gotten sucked into the nonsense of this Primary season. The only thing I have gotten out of it, is more outrage.
