1. Reid and Leahy have become absolutely useless....
Reid is going to make this a real filibuster, instead of the silent kind that he affords to the Repukes all the time. Leahy is standing as tall as he did with the Mukasey nomination. :sarcasm:

I wonder how much money has been contributed to the campaigns from the telecoms, and how much more has been promised. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

3. Okay so . . . sometimes it's better for it to be a "real" fillibuster and sometimes it's better for
it to be silent?

I know it's an academic quesiton since we haven't had a really real fillibuster in a very long time, but how do they make that call?

When should it be which?
