FDR, JFK, Truman and todays GOP |
|
Is anyone else struck by the degree to which the rabid right wing radio orthodoxy and television punditry claim, to varying degrees, that FDR, Truman, and JFK would be Republicans today? It concerns me that young, naieve listeners are being taken by this nonsense. I know that this is simply an effort to capitalize on three relatively popular presidencies, but it's time that this message is refuted. I would guess that FDR is rolling over in his grave at the direction this country is going. We can't allow these talking heads to drag us to the right any longer.

1. Have they forgotten how Repubs |

called FDR a traitor to his class?
They certainly can't accuse W of being a traitor to his class. After all, the have-mores are his base.
