3. I think Richardson would be a hoot as Cheney's successor
His video of Cheney's bunker would be a gas.

26. Agree. Once in a while he's on the Diane Rehm program and the two of them
have some of the most civil, informed conversation you can find on a radio.

6. lots to choose from; doubt Biden would
He's pretty much said he wouldn't do VP or Sec of State. He wouldn't under Clinton. Can't see him under Edwards. Think he and Obama have similar personality and approach in many ways, and I would have liked to see Biden / Obama. Can't see the Robin / Batman version as some have phrased it.

Biden can accomplish a lot as head of SFRC and senior member of judiciary, provided we get more Dems in the Senate. And with such a slim majority and weak leadership in Congress, we need Biden in the Senate.

Of course, I wish Biden could take office tomorrow. And I have not warmed to any of the 3 remainders.

13. JoeIs, you think Joe and Obama have
similar personality and approach? I'm curious to know how/where?

I'd be very happy to see Biden remain where he is; in that role, with a friendly administration, lots of good could happen.

23. nothing concrete, more of a gut feeling I guess...
just seems to me they're both pragmatic, e.g, their approaches to health care - goal of universal but practical steps to get there given the reality of the situation - better to do practical things right away than butt heads. Both have gotten flack for working on amendments to bills to improve them rather than rejecting them outright.

I guess I mean compared to Clinton-Biden or Edwards-Biden comparisons. Something about their debate style, campaign style, something intangible?

Perhaps part of it is remember comparison Biden made to Obama being rather like him in 1988.

12. George Clooney. Don't laugh...
... he's smarter and better-looking than Reagan (and a better debater), a successful entrepreneur, a master at bitch-slapping the Wolf Blitzers of the world, and will draw hueueueuge crowds on the campaign trail.

It will drive the GOP mad.
